The High Line is arguably the most exciting thing that has happened in Manhattan in the last ten years. In a city where just about everything is exciting, that’s saying something. Join Local Expeditions Founder, Nancy Blaine, on her tour of the BEST AND WORST aspects of the park’s success. There is no success in this town without accompanying development and the High Line is not exempt. See the ever changing cityscape and learn about the High Line’s past, it’s present, and the future of the surrounding neighborhood. This is a 2 hour tour that will end at the southernmost point of the High Line. Bring comfortable walking shoes. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the High Line so this is a bipedal tour only.
Meet in front of Think Coffee Shop right near the 30th Street entrance of the High Line between 10th and 11th Avenues.
