Event Description: We will begin at the East River Ferry for a 20 minute ride to DUMBO.  Along the way we will have many Manhattan and Brooklyn skyline photo opportunities.  When we disembark we will begin a 2 hour walk around DUMBO.  We will see some of Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Fulton Ferry Dock, The River Cafe, the NEW St. Ann’s Warehouse, a hidden publishing house/bookstore and learn some DUMBO history along the way.  The photo opps don’t end on the ferry.  In fact, that’s only the beginning.   See the most instagrammed spot in NYC.  At the end you will be left on a great shopping block just steps away from the F Train back to Manhattan or wherever you need to go.

Please Note: The $4.00 Ferry fee is additional–not covered by Local Expeditions.  On weekends the fee is $6.00.

Who will enjoy this expedition?:  This expedition is good for anyone–kids, families, adults and elders.  The total walking distance is approximately a half mile.
