West Village

The West Village is bordered by 14th Street to the North and Houston (sounds like HOW STUN) to the South.  The neighborhood is West of Fifth Avenue.  This charming neighborhood has a radical past (Commies, Gays, Blacks, Artists and Poets) and a luxurious present (rich folk).  Some of the row houses and townhouses are the prettiest in New York City.  It’s narrow streets, that do not adhere to the Manhattan grid structure, are like a movie set–especially in snowfall.
